Goodbye Corporate America, Hello Webcam World

All it took for a 46-year-old mom Ainslee Divine to switch careers was a little self-confidence, a camera, and a loving husband.

The switch

As a successful business owner of a property management agency, Ainslee had no intention of switching careers.

“It all started when I was 42 years old. I'd been in property management for 15 years, so I wasn't looking for a career change — just a little fun.”

Ainslee was feeling pretty good about herself, and wanted to share it with the world. Her ex-police officer husband, Jeff Davis, was very supportive and encouraged her to start an Instagram page where she would be able to share sexy photos that would empower her. Well, all that confidence paid off when a steaming hot pic of Ainslee in a Malibu Strings bikini was shared by the brand itself, and everyone loved it.

This new project opened many new doors, after a short while Divine was naturally advised by someone off Instagram to look into the world of webcamming if she was interested in making some real money - as she had what it took to be a successful model and a follower base that was ready to see more.

The starting setup was simple. All it took was a laptop, good lighting, a strong internet connection, a camera, some toys, and she was ready to go.

A taste of the modelling life

Driven by pure adrenaline and excitement, on October 4th, 2016 Ainslee Divine went live for the first time. When she was done all she could think about was how her face was probably quiet weird because of how nervous she was, but to her surprise the viewers reacted very positively.

“I was so well-received I found myself instantly drawn to it.”

And with the blink of an eye, Divine grew from zero to tens of thousands of followers. Today she likes to call herself the sweet, sexy, naughty mom next door and has over 100,000 followers across her social media accounts and is leading the Best MILF category for the Adult Webcam Awards.

Her look, personality, and age niche are all part of her brand, but it’s not always easy. In an interview Ainslee opened up about some of the difficulties she experiences on a daily basis.

“You've got to have a thick skin in this business, though, because you can't make everyone happy. I get people every day telling me to quit or that I’m too old. I just tune them out and the platform allows me to block any abusive people from my room.”

Not only has this opportunity granted Ainslee financial freedom unlike ever before, but she is now able to work from any part of the world (even while on vacation!) as long as she has her laptop, camera, light, and Wi-Fi.

“I've cammed and interacted with fans while vacationing in Hawaii, Mexico, Florida, California, Oregon — even Bora Bora.”

What was a small passion project has now turned into a full-time job for Divine, today she streams 5 days a week starting at 8:30am up until she reaches her daily goal. She has also added an OnlyFans account to her portfolio, and with the two platforms combined she easily brings in five figures a month.

Despite the pandemic causing the number of webcam models online at any time to almost double, Divine continues to remain at the top end of the industry and reaps the benefits that come along with it.
